The pieces are hand-carved from natural boxwood and solid ebony (Diospyros ebenum). Their classic proportions and matte finish give them a modern, understated elegance. Each piece is weighted and felted for stable, silent play, and the king stands at 9.5 cm in a harmonious set of 34 pieces.

The board, handmade in Europe, combines ebony, poplar and stained maple. Its black-and-beige marquetry is crisp and perfectly legible, enhanced by a matte finish that brings out the grain and avoids distracting glare. It offers a calm, precise and dignified playing surface.
