The pieces, hand-carved from natural boxwood and solid ebony (Diospyros ebenum), reveal a classic silhouette enhanced by impeccable finishing. Each figure is perfectly balanced, weighted and felted for an uncompromising playing experience. The king stands at 9.5 cm, offering a poised presence that naturally commands the board without excess.

The board, handcrafted in Europe, combines ebony, poplar and stained maple in a perfectly legible black-and-beige chequerboard. The fine marquetry and the matte finish highlight the wood grain while limiting reflections. The result is a precise, sober and striking playing surface—made to last and to be admired.
