Les Échiquiers du Roi are delighted to present the Trésor Chess Set, a precious piece where deep ebony and luminous boxwood create a striking, high-end contrast.

This set is designed as a collector’s object: elegant, perfectly finished, and built to last. The pieces, hand-carved from natural boxwood and solid ebony (Diospyros ebenum), are enhanced by a high-gloss lacquer that magnifies the richness of the woods. Weighted and felted with green bases, they offer smooth, stable and silent play. The king stands at 3.75 in (9.5 cm) within a complete set of 34 pieces.

The board, handmade in Europe, combines ebony, poplar and stained maple in a crisp black-and-beige chequerboard. Its matt finish brings out the grain and limits reflections, for both visual comfort and refined presence. With its 19.1 x 19.1 in (50 x 50 cm) format, it invites serious play while remaining an exceptional decorative piece.
