DESCRIPTION

Inspired by decorative arts and the elegance of imperial courts, Byzance stands out for its majestic pieces and warm wooden board. Rosewood and maple create a natural contrast, highlighted by deep grain and the warm tones of the squares.

Carved from boxwood and burnt boxwood, the pieces feature remarkable ornamental work. Delicate contrasting patterns highlight each detail, while the burnt wood gives the dark pieces a distinctive depth.

Both a chess set and a decorative object, Byzance celebrates woodworking and fine detail. An ensemble with character, designed for chess lovers and those who appreciate exceptional objects.
