DESCRIPTION

Inspired by the richness of decorative arts and the elegance of imperial courts, Byzance combines ornate chess pieces with a warm rosewood and maple board. Deep grain and golden brown tones give the set a distinctive presence.

The boxwood and burnt boxwood pieces feature carefully sculpted details and contrasting ornamental patterns. The dark pieces reveal the depth and character of the burnt wood.

A chess set and a decorative object, Byzance celebrates the craft of woodworking and the beauty of detail.
