The chessboard is made from acacia wood or rosewood, providing a perfect and durable playing surface. The 2 x 2 in (50 x 50 mm) squares are ideal for smooth piece movement. The chess pieces, made from acacia wood for the dark pieces and rosewood for the light pieces, are weighted to ensure a quality feel and balance.

The chess pieces are carefully sculpted to offer a comfortable grip and a harmonious aesthetic. The king, standing at 4 in (99 mm) tall, and the queen, measuring 3.25 in (81 mm), command the board with grace. Each piece rests on a felted base to protect the board and ensure smooth movements.

This chess set comes with 34 pieces, including two extra queens for each colour. Weighing a total of 6.7 kg (14.77 lbs), this set is both robust and elegant, perfect for enthusiasts and collectors of high-quality chess sets.
