The board, crafted in Europe, combines black tulipwood and maple in a crisp, graphic chequerboard. Its glossy finish reveals the depth of the wood and creates a refined play of light. A warm amber border frames the set with distinction, while the generous 19.1 x 19.1 in (50 x 50 cm) format offers a comfortable, readable playing surface.

The pieces are hand-carved from ivory boxwood (light) and red padauk (dark). Their high-gloss lacquer intensifies the contrast and enhances the elegance of every silhouette. Weighted and felted with green bases, they ensure stable, silent play. The king reaches 3.75 in (9.5 cm), within a complete set designed for both pleasure and presence.
