The pieces, inspired by the Staunton tradition, are carved from ivory boxwood and red padauk. Their matt finish, without varnish, preserves the natural feel of the material and offers a warm, direct touch. Weighted and felted with green bases, they ensure smooth, stable movement. The king stands at 3.75 in (9.5 cm) in a balanced, harmonious set.

The board, handmade in Europe from black tulipwood and maple, features crisp marquetry and a lacquered surface that enhances the depth of the wood. Framed by a wide amber border, it offers a generous 19.1 x 19.1 in (50 x 50 cm) playing field with perfect readability.
